TRAINING AT A DISTANCE TO BE
AN EMOTIONAL FITNESS COACH
The ideal training is to participate in a 100 hour course. This provides an opportunity to learn the 9 steps and gain the competencies to become an Emotional Fitness Coach.
When distance, or other factors make course attendance impractical, there are two other options.
One is to gather a small (minimum three) group of people from your community who are interested in an Emotional Fitness course. Where possible, an Emotional Fitness Instructor will visit to start the process. Course manuals are provided as well as telephone and e-mail support on a regular basis. The group meets weekly and works through the 9 steps.
The first option is described in more detail elsewhere. This document describes the procedure for a second option, which is for an individual learner who desires to become an Emotional Fitness coach and does not have access to a group, nor is able to attend courses, which are currently held in Calgary.
